Suzy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University in 2023.
Her passion for physiotherapy stems from her lifelong involvement in both social and competitive sports and dance, including netball, touch football, swimming, Oztag, and ballet. Having personally experienced sports-related injuries, Suzy developed a deep appreciation for the importance of rehabilitation and brings a compassionate, empathetic approach to helping others recover and return to what they love.
Suzy has worked in a major tertiary hospital, gaining experience across a wide range of clinical areas. She has managed patients with varying levels of acuity, from complex presentations in the Intensive Care Unit (including on-call night shifts) to rehabilitation settings and outpatient musculoskeletal care. This has equipped her with a solid foundation in both acute and long-term physiotherapy management.
Suzy takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to treatment, combining individually tailored exercise programs with hands-on techniques. She is a certified Reformer Pilates Instructor and also has experience working as a Level One Sports Trainer.
Outside of work, Suzy enjoys reading, doing Pilates, running, traveling, attending church, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Suzy is a bulk-billing Physiotherapist for Medicare CDM (EPC) referrals.
