TB completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport and Exercise Science) at University of Western Sydney, and then went on to complete his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University in 2015.
Since completing his degree, TB has extensive experience working at multiple private practices across Sydney with a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injuries, and postural correction.
He also brings experience from his work at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital between 2016-2020 in orthopaedic, neurosurgery, oncology, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
With his experience in treating patients following major surgeries such as total hip replacements, total knee replacements, shoulder reconstructions, and spinal surgeries in the hospital setting, TB is very passionate about helping patients treat their conditions conservatively to avoid surgery.
Additionally, TB has experience working in aged care and community physiotherapy around South Sydney.
As the Clinical Educator at MyPhysio, TB overlooks the learning content for the team’s CPD and mentoring the junior physiotherapists.
TB uses his personal experiences from his rehabilitation of his own injuries and his knowledge of biomechanics to integrate a holistic approach to physiotherapy. He offers a range of skills, including manual therapy, dry needling, myofascial release techniques, exercise prescription, and teaching clinical Pilates.
If you have a condition or injury where you have seen multiple practitioners with no success, TB’s extensive experience and unique approach may be right for you!
In his spare time, TB likes going to the gym, cycling, and skateboarding. He also likes going on adventures with his dog Luffy.
