Alta graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Macquarie University. She has experience in acute hospital wards and in various private practices.
Alta has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology (Study of Human Movement) from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
She strongly believes in person-centred care and that it is a collaboration between the patient and clinician throughout the rehabilitation journey, working with patients to reach their health goals. Alta’s goal is to be able to empower patients to be able to take control of their own health through her professional guidance, education, and advice.
Alta has special interest in treating patients with neck pain, low back pain, and osteoarthritis. She’s also interested in pain management, lifestyle changes and exercise programming.
Alta enjoys hiking, bouldering, is a big foodie, and she definitely cannot live without snacks.
